For my TWINE project, here's how I utilized several of the tools given to us. First, I started by using the ANAGRAM tool to create different titles for Song Maker, which you can see briefly at the beginning of the game. After this, I utilized the Predictive Writer to create some additional description for the game.

As for crowdsourcing/ utilizing the oblique strategy cards, the music for this game was created by my friends and I. Throughout the process, we would utilize the cards in the creation of the various tracks. The cards we drew were:

  • Trust in the you of now
  • Take a break
  • Be less critical more often
  • Use unqualified people
  • Emphasize differences
  • Finally, CHARNG and N+7 were created for various dialog options! For example, CharNG was used for creating vague hints like “this art thinct hancears com of gue Eve, Or ars, got trul the th st to se heng falthostall th ve, fo" if users were heading in incorrect directions.

    As for N+7 — I used that tool to create the ending message after you finished your song.
